About the Medieval Critters Series:
I have a fondness for the art of Medieval Illumination, found in old manuscripts. Often within the beautiful calligraphy and hand lettering are hidden little goofy critters. So I pulled them from their original homes so I'd have a subject matter to play with while I practice using egg tempera.
